Hier unser Interview mit ihr:
- how did you get started?
I started “Daisy Balloon” on 2002. On 2008, Takashi Kawada joined with Daisy Balloon. He is art director, and my husband. ( this is his website : www.kotenhits.com) Then we started to create our art works.- were do you find your inspiration?
I’m finding my inspiration from my life, from flower, from art books and museums.- what is a luxury for you?
To eat high-quality Sushi. Traveling abroad with Takashi.- what is your favourite place in the world?
I love Japan- what do you collect?
I’m using a lot of long balloons. Sometimes top part of balloon remains. I’m collecting the parts.- has your approach changed over the years?
Yes, we have.- what bores you?
When balloon burst again and again. Balloon to be shrink after few days. Then balloon work to be shrink too.- did you always wanted to be a designer/photographer/artist/architect?
No, I didn’t. I wanted to be florist when I was young.- who inspires you daily?
My husband Takashi Kawada.- what is your favourite colour?
Green- what makes your work finished for you?
Smile of all children.- what are you going to do in 10 years?
We will create our balloon works more.
Dear Rie and Takashi,
